What prompted you to join Southside Wellness Coalition?

I joined the Southside Wellness Coalition because it is an excellent tool to bridge the gap between the population and the array of resources facilitated by this organization. Each professional that is affiliated with the coalition is dedicated to servicing and providing quality support to the community.

What do you consider to be one of Southside’s biggest challenges?

Southside’s biggest challenges are with mental health awareness and substance abuse related issues.

What do you consider to be one of Southside’s biggest strengths?

Southside’s biggest strength is the closeness of the people in these rural communities.

If you are employed outside your home, what kind of work do you do?

I am a Case Manager with LOC Family Services. I work with the re-entry population, transitioning them from being justice-involved to being back in the community as valued citizens.

What is a fun fact about you that not many people know?

I write Rhythm and Blues and Hip Hop songs under the stage name Denalii Da Great with Great Minds Collaborate Productions.
